MAC CONNER EXHIBIT!

One of the great things about living in New York City is the museums. Just to let you know, all New Yorkers don't go to museums every weekend (we also pretty much never go to Times Square, unless we have to), but when I saw that the Museum of the City of New York was having an exhibit of brilliant illustrator Mac Conner, I jumped on the subway and headed uptown.

The museum itself is quite beautiful and close to Central Park.

It was so wonderful to see his work so large!

I was a bit awestruck, seeing the actual original artwork. That guy sure knew how to paint.

If you're in the area, I urge you to go. It's up until February 1, so hurry!

APPLEGATE FARMS ICE CREAM!

If you know me or read my blog, you know I love to eat. Just read the banner of this blog. It actually says "food."

One of my most favorite desserts is ice cream and when I was growing up, the most exciting thing to hear was my parents calling me and my brother and sister to pile into the old station wagon to go to Applegate Farms for some ice cream.

My favorite flavor was Vanilla Fudge, but being there were so many to choose from here, I probably tried most of them. Before you ask, no, I never had Rum Raisin.

I guess my favorite is black raspberry. I don't see it very often, so whenever I do, I get it!

I tried to thank the cows, but they ignored me.
