I had such a wonderful time at the Children's Festival of Reading in Knoxville, TN! What a great place to visit. I hope I'm invited back soon.
Appearing at an outdoor festival is very different from the indoor variety. There are so many things going on around you and you have to stay focused.
Even with a microphone, you have to read REALLY LOUD!
And draw VERY LARGE pictures so everyone can see them.
I wanted to get as close to the kids as possible, so I sat at the edge of the stage. Everyone had a good time, at least I think so.
I did anyway.
